Candice, there was no more irony in _that_ post than in this one,
which is frankly baffled. What "gleeful sarcasm"? If there was any,
it was towards those who subscribe to blanket condemnations of
"Americans" who, as I pointed out, have had as much to say about
freedom as anyone. Objections against bigotries run all ways, as you
have repeatedly said.
