Dave, I always take the weather personally. And don't know if it's any
consolation, but even though there's supposed to be a summer coming here,
it's gotten rather chill. Though I couldn't say it's chest-threatening.
Speaking of threatening, we had our very own anthrax scare, just across the
road. All dealt with quiet and hush-hush like. Fire engines without sireens,
blokes with masks and hoses, street blocked but real discreet. All because
of some white powder on the footpath. Considering the area I work in, near
the railway, that could have been anything. Also, apparently a sniper was
spotted on top of a building on the other side of Central (railway) but the
cops couldn't find him. Hence Icelandic music.
