no offence intended, but a possible back-cover blurb for a future book:
"His poetry is so hard-hitting, they named a rifle after him"
or
"First came the rifle. Now comes an arsenal of hot smoking poems"
I wish there was a gun, a kitchen knife, a nail-clipper, ANYTHING named Ali - apart
form Muslim terrorists. Actually come to think of it, maybe I can have a blurb like:
"In the tradition of Osama Bin Laden..." or "If you enjoyed Terrorism you'll love
Ali's poems"...

Subject: Re: "SKK rifle"
Dear SKK,
I merely did Chris Jones (mail 8.Oct) the honour of quoting his choice of
guns; he actually wrote, more fully, "my trusty SKK Chinese automatic
assault rifle I got buried in the garden" ~ I am totally innocent of any
knowledge of guns, the last one I played with having been a toy (Colt?) at
age 12 or roundabouts. I rather doubt, though, that the said rifle was named
after you. If it was then you could probably claim some sort of royalties.
Worth looking into.
Cheers,
Martin
