Hiya nucka!
Sorry for this belated reply, but have been offline most of the day. I'm
going to focus strictly on the question of biblical "matches" to the two
Koran passages I cited, since others have taken up other issues in your
original post. You had suggested the passages from Deuteronomy (3) and
Numbers (31) cited in your quoted extract as matches, but, frankly, I don't
see any resemblance between them and the pair from the Koran apart from the
very general war theme, so let me put all these passages together here and
invite whatever comparisons or contrasts you or anyone else may want to
make. (My original comparison, remember, was with Bush Admin rhetoric, not
with any other sacred text.)

Koran 008.025 And guard yourselves against a chastisement which cannot fall
exclusively on those of you who are wrong-doers, and know that Allah is
severe in punishment.
Koran 008.057 If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to
strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.
Deut 3:6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of
Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
Num 31:7,10 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded
Moses; and they slew all the males.
And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all
their goodly castles, with fire.
Num 31:17-18 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill
every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women
children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for
yourselves.
