Art theory borrows very heavily on literary theory these
days - dont know about pre post modernism. Art works are
seen as texts to be read and interpreted. Multi-disciplinary
stuff. Feminism made it forbidden to objectify the body by
merely illustrating - I'm sure you know the theory.

*chuckle* that was one of the bits I liked! The thesis is
