I've tried reading her work, as it's easily available on line, but can't
really relate to it ~ you know, that feeling that it's all doubtless very
clever but... yawn...
I'm grateful for the tip about Schwerner's _The Tablets_ from various people
~ that is available here in Europe (Lyn Hejinian's _Oxota_ unfortunately
isn't, for instance.) What I've looked at already is very weird &
entertaining + illuminating, so that's a treat I'm looking forward to.
Funny that Genet son of Genet couldn't see the list more as a source of
discovery & provocation rather than as a babel of screeching or droning
voices ~ which it is as well, of course. In fact, I wanted to say to him
that the anomie of the late consumerist deranged post-subject, function of a
terminal ghost-in-the-machinism infecting the highest realms of culture, as
Gunther Anders so exhaustively diagnosed in _The Superannuation of
Humanity_, has penetrated like a miasma
