Minnesota, yup. I love that one. Just the thought of all those lakes all in
the one place. Gee whiz (irony-free exclamation).

Must have misremembered. I though it said First in Freedom

OK, and how unexciting is that. Not like New Mexico - Land of Enchantment.
Woo-hoo. And Land of Lincoln - that was good.
For the record NSW is, or was, "The Premier State" (how deeply exciting is
that - thanks Nifty) which predictably gets right up the nose of every other
state. And Queensland, of course is our Sunshine State (or Beautiful One
Day, Developed the Next). As a humble yet proud citizen of the Premier State
I am always gratified by the State's way with words.
Thanks for all that Candice. I look forward to any other views. But you
shoulda oughta have seen this wall of plates - some with 1950s dates. It
really added to my enjoyment of my Chicago Beer Burger (I kid you not), my
partner's Chicken Cajun Burger and our pints of Moosehead (a Canadian beer,
by the way).
Cheers,
Jill
