AK asked:
>Which one?!?!?!
Yes, well, this is the interesting problem a poet like Pessoa poses (I'm
sure many of ye know this already, but "pessoa" in Portuguese means
"person", such a scary little irony). His black trunk (a *real* black trunk,
found in his room after his death) is still being wandered in by critics,
who keep finding new heteronyms and things. The trunk is full of brilliant
poets with distinctive and confident voices. You might say that Pessoa's
"voice" is the trunk, though he, with signature diffidence, regarded
Fernando Pessoa as simply another species of heteronym.
Now his face is on the Portuguese $100 bill.
