.....to inform and to say the truth, to inform or to say the truth, to
inform without saying the truth. what must be established is what it is
meant collectively with the word truth. whether truth coincides with the
true, with data, facts or simply with ideas. Journalistic truth is
obviously not the real true truth although it sticks to the idea of
faithfulness to facts and data. on the other hand, poetic truth, while
being more distant from facts and data, is far more competent in being a
more real and true truth than the truth conceived by journalism, although
not based on any pretence of faithfulness......
