Apologies for catching up on these digests as the discussion trails, but
I'm hoping that one of you may have an answer for me. My dad was the sci fi
maven in our house, and so I read around in it a little when I was a kid,
and I remember a short story in a collection about a writer whose future
selves keep doubling back on himself after a rather familiar but disheveled
self crashes through the mirror beside him where he sits at his typewriter.
Does anyone know what this was, offhand? My father was not an adventurous
fan, so it's most likely Asimov or Heinlein or . . . Are there other sci
fi tomes on selves doubling back?
Thanks all --
Susan
