It occurred to me a couple of years ago (probably because I was suffering
first-contact shock in my new home in Southern California) that there was
money to be had by establishing a cult based on cat sitting, i.e., sitting
in the various ways that cats do. Eventually, the theory goes, one acquires
feline wisdom.
