i mainly asked this question to see what prejudices are in the arts about
sexuality, like there is in the rest of the world. it's an open question to
all answers. i'm not saying that anyone has come across as prejudice, or
that someone said somethig to me that gave me this idea, it was just a
thought.

The notion that a person's sexual orientation imparts some special
knowledge
or credibility is obnoxious and stupid. A "more diverse artist" includes
all
the factors that inform a life. And that "informing" is what's important,
from anyone: queer, straight, bi, tran, or undecided.
