This month's Snakeskin features a spectacular poem by K.M.Payne. Called
"Blackened Sphere" it is a high-energy rampage through the myths of modern
paranoia, written in hard-driving rime royale ( a stanza form of which Ken
is a master).
If you read only one poem on the Internet this month, make it "Blackened
Sphere". Unless you're a poet yourself, in which case it could make you
shrivel and despair at your own inadequacy. I don't think you've ever read a
poem quite like this.
The issue also features strong poems by:
Tony Grist
Nancy Fay
Robert James Berry
John Birkbeck
L.Fullington
Carole Houston
Andrew Belsey
Ernest Slyman
Paul Henry
and
Lisa Crosbie
All the best
George
