Crudely: Horspiel (there should be an umlaut over the O) literally
"earplays", are pieces imagined and produced for radio, usually by
composers, juxtapositions of sound, text, music - to my ear, an inherently
poetic form.
Martin, I think, mentioned a number a few months ago, and could probably
fill in the description a little better than I.
