For what it is worth, I would strongly recommend this book to anyone with
more than a passing interest in science. I work for a bookshop and I was
lucky enough to obtain a proof copy of Emergence. This is a book that draws
together many apparently unconnected themes, from the evolution of the
Internet to the behaviour of ants. A highly thought-provoking book as
Johnson explores a new explanation for some behaviour patterns.
