From 'Volume':
Man and woman: what else
is new? Together they're
called to witness. Where? If
by water, it's polluted, and
the drifting clouds of smoke the
ancients followed or fled are still
a warning in the sky. Now in this
world, the harsh aftertaste of explosive
in their mouths, even a
miniature map of the escape routes
and the camps to come is
certainly welcome. Anything is better than
this darkness, these separations in the
name of some one god who
is worshipped differently and therefore
well by enemies neighbours but a day before.
