Alison's long & feisty post on Australian nationalism is very mucy to the
point. Much of what she says could be applied to the somewhat similar
situation in that other 'settler-invader' country, Canada, where I live, &
where, as she suggests John K suggests, the concept of 'region' might help
to 'see' some thigns otherwise invisible...
