Re: IRAQ etc.
Here's what I wrote (orig. in German) eight years ago after the gulf war. I
made the English version a few weeks ago.
new world order
when the great war
that had menaced the world
finally grasped
that people didn't like him
he decided to dissolve -
but not into nothing
but in many little wars
in so many places.
no longer did they menace
the world altogether -
only one or another
people or group.
and they promised
to one or another
people or group
to possess just a little bit more
of our one world
just for themselves
thus the tricky old man
whose name is war
managed to survive
the impending outbreak
of peace on earth.
and the world?
how about the world?
well, this poor world of ours -
had returned to order.
