Perhaps now that I have laid out some of the tale, some extra comment:
First: this fourth order simularcra son of genet aren't me. So don't think
that, for starters. But then who is me? Who is to say I'm not a fourth order
simularcra? As for what a fourth order simularcra may happen to be; you had
better ask the bloke who wrote about the third one. He has some cool
memories: Destroy, he said, not deconstruct. (Baudrillard, Cool
memories II, 1996.) Perhaps, as far as I can make out a fourth order would be
pure chaos and chaos as such does not exist; it is not a thing in itself and
of itself, devoid of any referential schema, I think??? Well at least not
something Leibniz and Kant could cope with, anyway. It would be pure affect
without any referent at all, like the falling towers of the World Trade
Center without any before or after, any way to make referential sense of what
happened. It would be pure destruction of prescriptive realist narrative.
There would be no monad, no reference points which reflect and determine
point of view. So who is son of genet? Pure immanence, perhaps?
As for writing machines: check out that passionate little book, _Kafta:
towards a minor literature_ by D&G. Especially the chapter on Kafta's
letters. It appears that this son of genet, now flatlined, has invented a new
and original writing machine part. It has cracked an a-human artificial
intelligence!
As for my calling it him in the tale. My cock only thinks there is one
gender: him! But then if you had a lesbian transgender gay boy friend
complete with surgically sutured prothesis, you suffer from gender confusion,
too!
to write poetry you make a pact with the devil and some wild devil, I say! I
am possessed, posessed! My soul is long gone!
best wishes
Chris Jones.
(Flatlined is _Neuromancer_ Gibson, of course, and bleeding machines from
_Bladerunner_, using my wonky memory without checking sources, but who really
cares about sources, hey!)
