The new issue of the Long Poem Group Newsletter No. 11 for July 2001,
is now available at
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/lpgn/lpgn1.html
as are all the previous Newsletters. The July issue is twice
the size of normal (much typing for me!) and is edited by
Sebastian Barker only, as William Oxley was otherwise engaged.
Sebastian writes an Editorial, and there are articles by
Brian Spink, Stuart Flynn, Hilary Davies, Hugh Montgomery
and Leonie Rushforth. I found this to be a very good issue
covering a wide range of topics with particular praise for
Stuart Flynn, and especially Hilary Davies on poetry's
roots in Shamanism.
While I am here I will say that I have five more of my children's
Kitten Poems available, and there should be a vote on whether
I post them.
And I am sorry I never stuck a Contents onto these Newsletters.
It forces people to scan everything which may be a good thing.
And, again, the URL is
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/lpgn/lpgn1.html
and the provisional Kitten Poems pamphlet is at
