From my flimsy grasp of biblical teaching I guess the Christian view
coincides with the biblical view that animals were created for the
use of man and do not have souls. But then I find the bible of no
help in running my life, (even less its use for unpleasant political
objectivs) and I don't know what a soul looks like. A question I find
much more interesting is whether animals have consciousness and
intelligence ( which I guess = soul). My cat has both.
