Colleagues:
I have been asked by a colleague if I could provide references on the
subject of comparing the efficacy/benefits of different types of foot
orthoses. Here are the following areas of interest:
-The benefits of custom orthoses vs. prefab type devices.
-The benefits of "hard" vs. "soft" types of devices.
-The effectiveness (and resulting accuracy) of traditional fabrication
methods vs. automated (i.e..: amfit) systems.
I could only think of a few references off the top of my head, but I know
that a few of you on the mailbase are very familiar with the literature on
this subject. Any help directing me toward specific references, if any,
would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Kevin
