If they are working within the confines of the NHS then I would have thought
that they would have wanted to look into the fitness of the person
concerned. I seem to remember that the Dept. I worked in had a number of
'specialists' who were employed by a University and we screened them. After
all Student Nurses/ Midwives & Medical Students all come from a University
these days.

how do you approach the managemetn of unoiversity empoyees who hold honorary
NHS contracts.....should the university have its own OHS provider...
or do these employees automatically come in the remit ogf the NHS
