Hi Roman thanks for the info, i have talked to one of my lecturers to try
and decide on the area of study. As i will be based in Yogyakarta i think i
will do a studyof gunung merapi, and maybe even do a comparison with an
other area in indonesia. I want to research the effects of the last volcanic
eruption, talk to some of the locals who experienced it and government
officials to hear their side. My plan is to cover every angle from the
economic effects to the possible spiritual aspect the Javanese believe.
If you can suggest any thing that might help my project please let me know.
thanks
Christian
