I used to keep a close eye on anthropologist's work in disaster literature,
but admit to drawing a blank on your topic. Do you need to go a long way
back; do you have to explore anthropological stuff on disasters generally -
not only earthquakes ??
Try searching Spillius (South Pacific hurricanes); Torry (general - more
recent); and Oliver-Smith (most recent and nearest to earthquakes). I
can't recall anything on children and earthquakes, but there are projects
involving children in post-conflict situations (try UNICEF).
This might trigger some more sources from others ?
