This is a reminder that the registration deadline for the next Western
Spectroscopy Association Conference (January 30 - February 1, 2002) is fast
approaching. The registration deadline is Saturday November 17, 2001!
REGISTRATION
Registration and updates are available on the internet at
http://pearl1.lanl.gov/wsa2002/default.htm Housing arrangements need to be
made directly with Asilomar; please FAX or mail the housing registration
form (available from the conference web site) directly to them. Please send
a check for your conference registration (payable to the Western
Spectroscopy Association), to Dr. Craig A. Taatjes, WSA Secretary,
Combustion Research Facility, Mail Stop 9055, Sandia National Laboratories,
Livermore, CA 94551-0969 ([log in to unmask]). Registration cancellations
will result in a full refund if received prior to November 28, 2001; after
that date the refund will be less a $45.00 fee.
POSTER SESSIONS
All conferees are encouraged to participate in the poster sessions on
Wednesday, January 30, or Thursday, January 1, 2002. To ensure that there is
sufficient display room, we ask that the poster title and names of authors
be included on the registration form. Poster boards are 4' x 8' and
conferees should supply pushpins.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS
We shall again have a guest program consisting of a walk, led by a park
ranger from Asilomar State Beach, of the Asilomar grounds and/or tide pool
area, provided there is enough interest. Please indicate the number of
guests who would attend on the registration form.
