The British Geological Survey, Keyworth, Nottingham, have some data on
working mines since they are responsible for collating annual mineral
production figures for the UK. It may well be worth contacting them.
I would recommend Tim Coleman who is well-informed on the subject and
pleased to help with most requests of this type.
Someone mentioned Cononish a while ago: the mine was on care & maintenance
but has I believe been mothballed for now. So far as I am aware Scotland is
fairly quiet in company terms, apart from the usual hordes of goldpanners!
Has the Rogerly mine in Weardale been added? It is worked every summer, and
produces specimens of green fluorite. The company has a nice website at:

Hope that's some use! John
