The NAHMO executive meet on Sunday 4th November when only a handful of club
reps bother to turn up.
The present Secretary intends to stand down at the AGM in March and The
Chairman has indicated he is only willing to do another 12 months. Clearly
there is a void and most committee posts are seen as thankless tasks.
On the back of the Club mergers - I intend to propose the NAHMO considers
joining the NCA, BCRA merger talks and that there becomes a Mining History
section of the BCRA.
Okay folks let me have your views and more importantly let your club reps
have your views and get them to attend meetings. They have no excuse as a
mileage allowance is paid and the executive meetings move around the country
to reduce travel time and to be fair to all member organisations
