Forgive my sceptism but isn't the 'waste-to-energy plant' idea the really
money earner. Normally dogged by public opposition to the concept of an
'incinerator' and the fear of toxic emissions, this company seeks to
introduce the technology under cover of renewed mining. Once the plant is up
and running, mining will be phased out as uneconomic.
In addition, pumping power station ash (no doubt the residues from their own
plant) into the mine will eliminate all chances of renewed tin working on
that site.
