Further to Mike Messenger's comments:
The mine is flooded to adit. which is th natural water level, and the water
is now overflowing through the adit into the Red River.
As well as a waste-to-energy plant they plan to take power station waste and
deposit it in the shallow workings, using similar technology to that which
was used on some of the Bath stone mines. Both of these activities should
provide a positive cash flow to support mining operations. I believe that
the initial mining will be in the upper levels recovering pillars.
