Hello all
I am a home birth midwife in New Zealand with a special interest in
breech presentation and birth. I would like to get some feedback from
the e-group on a project I am developing - so I can ensure that it is
applicable beyond the shores of NZ.
The Term Breech Trial findings will be effective in shutting down
women's options unless we are proactive in maintaining and/or developing
ways to be able to support women to give
birth to their breech babies. I have developed a Statistics Form
specifically for Breech Presentation & Birth to identify midwifery
experience with the same. This will be accessible from a website I am
developing which will address issues around breech birth. At this stage
I am wanting feedback on the Statistics Form and have copied it below -
the 'r' is actually a tick box. (Only the data page is included but
there will be a key, codes, addresses etc on the final form and it will
be a double-sided A4.) You can give me feedback via the list or by
private e-mail. No critique is too large or too small - I would
appreciate it all.
Some examples of things to consider:
* Do you understand the form? If not, why not & what bits?
* Do the categories reflect the variables in your practice? If not,
what bits are missing etc?
* Would this information be readily available from the current
Childbirth Records which you write? If not, what bits would be missing
etc?
* Would you provide information for such a database? What would you
need to encourage you to do this? and so on ...
* Absolutely anything ..... !
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Maggie
