Broadcasting Freedom .

With the forthcoming Communications Bill, which will be one of the first
pieces of legislation in the new Parliament, the Government looks set to
completely transform the way mass communications are run and regulated.
This Bill will open the door to intensive competition and media
concentration. It will put massive pressure on broadcasters to drop
standards - pushing public service to the margins. This meeting will
launch
a country-wide campaign of awareness raising and lobbying to change the
bill
as it progresses through Parliament.
Join our campaign to change the bill ! Protect Public Service
Broadcasting !
