These two new posts are based in the Learning and Teaching Support Network
Subject Centre for Art, Design and Communication in the Faculty of Arts and
Architecture. In these varied and stimulating roles you will be responsible
for coordinating, developing and implementing activities in line with our
strategic and operational plans and providing academic and pedagogic
guidance. Using your superior communication skills you will deal with staff
in partner institutions, professional and external bodies, maintain a
professional enquiry service, and enable the development of a practitioner
network throughout the UK. You will also assist in the preparation of bids
for other sources of research/development funding, and monitor and report on
performance targets. You will need a degree in one or more of the sub
disciplines of Media and Communication (ref: AO3009) or Art and Design (ref:
AO3008), a proven record of achievement in teaching, knowledge of learning
technologies and experience in the organisation of workshops/seminars. The
posts are fixed-term until 31 July 2003 due to funding. Job sharers
