Documentation Assistant - Collections Data Management Section
c.£15k p.a.
Two vacancies have arisen for Documentation Assistants based within the British Museum*s Collections Data Management Section. The Section*s responsibilities include creating computer records of the Museum*s collections, control of data quality and terminology, and advice, training and support for curatorial staff.
Applicants should have some experience of working with computer databases, have good communication skills, manual dexterity, and be able to work as part of a team.
A higher qualification in a museum or archaeology related discipline and/or prior museum experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
