I concur with this entirely. I also attended the Museums and Web
conference and, in fact, hoped to speak with you about a South
Kensington consortium of web people! In any event, I think the Museums
and Web conference showed that there are varying levels of needs in the
museum community in relation to the use and development of the web, but
we do not have a venue to address these other than in an annual
conference.
I would be interested to take part in a focus group and would be open to
a preliminary meeting prior to the MCG to discuss a way forward.
