The Museum of London is seeking a temporary Documentation Assistant to support the documentation and movement of objects during a series of major projects and to help with related documentation work. The projects include the de-installation of existing galleries and the installation of a new gallery and the movement of glass and ceramic collections to an external store. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and experience of documentation and object handling work within social history, ceramics, glass or archaeology collections and using office systems and databases (ideally Word and Oracle/Multi MIMSY).
Contract from April 2001 to January 2002 in the first instance, with the possibility of extension to March 2002. Salary: £14,103 pa inc.
