I looked into purchasing this a couple of years ago. Then as now, the
prices were VERY high and the licensing agreement unreasonably restrictive.
So I wrote and complained, and didn't get a reply, of course. In my
opinion, its not worth the money - the cost cannot be justified. But, if
people pay it, they will charge. Stick to the printed copy, or use an
alternative!

Subject: British Pharmacopoeia 2001 on CD-ROM
<< File: ATT00000.html >> Hi
The network licence for this CD (produced by the Stationery Office) is now
based on 'actual users' rather than simultaneous users, as before. The
prices are very high (over ?21,000 for 26-50 'actual users').
We have a Pharmacy department with a large number of students and staff.
Consequently we have found this new pricing structure rather less than
'user-friendly', as the Stationery Office's publicity describes it.
Is there anyone out there who has found an acceptable solution?
