NEWS OF CONFERENCE AND NEW EBL RESOURCE
Just a quick reminder - the closing date for Abstracts for the
Evidence Based Librarianship Conference in Sheffield, UK on
September 3rd and 4th has been extended to Friday June 15th
5 pm BST. The abstract form is available from the conference web
site at: http://www.shef.ac.uk/~scharr/eblib/programme.html
We have also been able to extend slightly the number of places for
delegates at the conference so if you wish to attend email your
name and address to [log in to unmask] (again before
June 15th) and there is a good chance that you will get a place.
In association with the Conference, ScHARR and The LINC Health
Panel Research and Horizon Scanning Task Group have placed a
webography listing materials on Evidence Based Librarianship on
our website:
http://www.shef.ac.uk/~scharr/eblib/ebl.htm
All suggestions and additions gratefully received
([log in to unmask]). Alison Winning from ScHARR
Information Resources has kindly agreed to maintain this EBL portal
once the conference has taken place.
Plans are also underway for a special themed issue of Health
Information & Libraries Journal on EBL and for an EBL Handbook.
Further details of both will be given at the conference.
