ECDL Testing Forum 11th & 12th July 2001, Oxford
The European Computer Driving Licence is a basic IT skills qualification
accepted in over 60 countries worldwide. Outside Europe it is called the
International Computer Driving Licence.
With 85% of FE and 35% HE institutions running the scheme, this workshop
provides testers and potential testers of the European Computer Driving
Licence with a chance to experience and evaluate both the automated testing
engines and the manual question test base, whilst hopefully gaining the
certificate themselves. There will also be opportunities to investigate the
administrative side of the systems. Note that a requirement just released
by the British Computer Society requires all markers of the manual question
test base to possess the qualification themselves.
Full details of the ECDL qualification are available at http://www.ecdl.com/
and http://www.ecdl.co.uk/.
Full details of the workshop together with an online booking form are on the
web at http://www.ucisa.ac.uk/SDG/Courses/courses.htm.
The booking deadline is June 26th.
