10.30 The changing face of scholarly publishing. Robert Kiley,
Information Service Manager, Wellcome Library. Looking at the different
publishing models being developed, including PubMed and commercial
services such as CrossRef, and examining the key drivers responsible for
this change.
11.10 E-journal archiving. David Inglis, Director, British Library
Digital Library Programme.
National and international policies for guaranteed access to back issues
of electronic journals, and plans for the archiving and supply of
e-journal articles.
11.50 Citation linking in large-scale e-print archives and the Open
Citation Project. Steve Hitchcock, Department of Electronics and
Computer Science, University of Southampton. The implications of
large-scale e-print archives for scholarly papers and the prospects for
enhancing these with transparent global interoperability, using the Open
Citation Project as a demonstration of the archive services which may
emerge.

Following last year's stimulating talk on electronic copyright we have
invited Jill to look at the current position from an intellectual
property viewpoint.
