PRODUCING AND EDITING A NEWSLETTER
17 October, London
This inspiring workshop will provide participants with a range of ideas and
tips for producing a newsletter that is interesting and relevant to their
target audience. Delegates will be encouraged to consider what they want
their newsletter to achieve, and to look at how they might achieve these
goals more effectively through fresh approaches to writing and obtaining
features, and through creative use of images, captions and design.
The workshop will give participants practical ideas that they will be able
to put into effect immediately on returning to work.
BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE LEARNED TO:
* identify what makes a successful newsletter
* assess how their newsletter can help to meet organisational
objectives
* evaluate the content and overall image of their own newsletter and
of other examples
* write and obtain - for free - features that will interest their
target audience
* use images, photographs, captions and overall layout to enhance the
impact of a newsletter
