Depends very much which board and when. I did Cambridge, which changed
from 1-5 pass, 6-9 fail to 1-6 pass, 7-9 fail either in 1959 or 1960, as
it was the first when I did my O levels in '58 and the second in 1960
when I did another along with my A levels. Whether they changed the % or
just the bands I don't know.
