Interested in the latest in library design and academic library practice?
Then come along to visit Coventry University's Lanchester Library on Wed 4
July, 2 - 4.30pm. A state-of-the-art building, it cost £20 million to build
and is designed to be naturally ventilated, cooled and lit. With over 1200
study places, and more than 200 PCs, the library is the latest in
integrated learning environments and utilises Virtual Learning packages to
support the University's teaching, learning and research.
The afternoon will begin at 2pm, with refreshments on arrival, followed by
a presentation by senior library managers, a tour of the building and a
Question and Answer session to finish. Parking is available adjacent to the
