The Electronic Communications Act 2000 defines what is an acceptable
digital signature. As long as the signature conforms to the Act's
requirement, it will be acceptable in law. The Act has not yet ben
implemented yet.

Why does everyone have to agree a particular format? As long as the
particular signature conforms to the Act, it will be acceptable in law.
