The London Borough of Merton Libraries and the Career
Development Group (North & South Thames Division) warmly
invite you to Libraries for All: a visit to Morden Library,
on 31st January 2001 from 6:15-8:00pm.
This promises to be a very interesting visit, and a
valuable opportunity to learn about how Merton Libraries
are becoming more socially inclusive.
The visit will start with a tour at 6:15pm, and will then
be followed by four short presentations by Merton Libraries
staff. These will cover different aspects of making
libraries more socially inclusive, including: quality
leadership, project management, staff training, outreach
and grass-roots work, monitoring and evaluation.
If you cannot make it in time for the tour, please do come
along for the talks which will start at 7:00pm.
Refreshments will be available.
Venue: Morden Library, Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
Nearest tube: Morden (southern terminus of the Northern

Cost: A donation of £2.50 is requested for VSO book projects.
