The Usenet group comp.sys.amstrad.8bit would be the best place to find
this information - you could try searching that group on
http://www.deja.com
One person who offered a transfer service is Tony Gill, Rowansoft,
Rowancraig, Ardfern, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8QN, telephone 01852
500257. He used to charge 5.99 per disc, but that also included
converting Locoscript documents to Word etc. If you just want the files
transferred and kept in the same format, that's easier. I have not used
his services, and the information may be out of date, so it would be best
to phone.
If you are just wanting the files moved to 3.5" discs and do not need them
converting to use them with PC software, then I could do the job myself,
providing there are only two or three discs. I'm not quite clear whether
you want the files transferred to 3.5" Amstrad format discs, or whether
you want them transferred to 3.5" DOS discs for reading on a PC. Later
Amstrad models used 3.5" discs, but the disc format is still different
from IBM PCs, much as Macs use 3.5" discs which cannot be read on a PC.
