Dear colleagues,
I'm seeking information about library flooring and carrells.
Ours is a medium-sized, open-space, academic library. We have problems with
noise, so carpet seems like an ideal solution, although I tend to regard
carpeting as unhygenic and difficult to keep clean. We are located in a
town which has a high population of dogs, with badly-trained owners!
However, it would seem that vinyl and rubber flooring also have drawbacks.
Can you give me your thoughts on this please?
I'd also like to hear from those of you who have installed study carrells.
Which do students prefer and which do *you* consider best value for money
and why.
Thank you for any help you can offer me. Best regards from Bologna, Italy.
