SENIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANT (Cataloguing)
The Information Services Department requires an experienced cataloguer to
join its Library and Media Services cataloguing team. Duties include
subject indexing, classification and cataloguing of all library material.
You will also be expected to work regularly at one of the Library’s public
service points.
You must have appropriate cataloguing experience, preferably in an academic
library, including the use of AACR and MARC, experience of using an
automated library system and good keyboard skills. Experience of subject
indexing and classification would be an advantage. Experience of working
with the public, preferably in a library context, is desirable.
Salary will be in the range £16,072 to £18,268 inclusive of London
Allowance.
