Subject: [ERIL-L] We Need Your Help!
To our fellow colleagues,
We need your help and expertise!
We would like to provide a website of information concerning topics to the
WTC/Pentagon attacks. This project evolved from the feelings of frustration
and answer to "what
can we do to help?". Members of the CNY of SLA (Martha Schweitzer and Marty
Cullen)
and the LLAGNY of AALL (Janice Henderson), provided the foundation to this
concept and gave wonderful ideas about how to begin and what can be
achieved. This has grown from a small to a large project.
All information we receive will be published on a variety of websites
and on LLRX.com. We are hoping to have the website up and running by
Wednesday, Oct. 31st. Please pass this message to your listservs.
We need volunteers for the following:
1. To find experts on professors in universities on terrorism and Middle
East issues. This can be url links to web pages or news articles. Please
send your information to:
Paul D. Healey, Editorial Director for AALL Spectrum
Albert E. Jenner, Jr. Memorial Law Library, University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign
Phone: 217-244-3048
Email: [log in to unmask]
2. Express your feelings! How has the Sept. 11th attacks affected you?
Send your comments to Lissa Lord. Your comments can be anonymous.
3. How has life changed for you since 9-11-01? in your workplace? Your
city? Your country? For example:
In one workplace employees must now wear their security ID badges at all
times. In the DC area, newspaper recycling bins have been removed at the
Metro. Please send your comments to Lissa Lord. Comments can be
anonymous.
