Dear All,
I am currently trying to write an article, aimed at comic fans, on
graphic novel collections in Libraries. I am hoping it will be of
interest to fans who may not realise what a wonderful resource their
local library is.
Therefore, if anyone has any comments about their graphic novel
collections then I'd love to hear them. e.g. are they popular, do they
attract young teenage boys into the library (which is who they are
normally aimed at), do they help with literacy projects, have you had
good feedback, are there any major problems with trying to develop the
collections, what can fans do to support their libraries...
Also I'm trying to find some more information out about the recent
collaboration with the Games Workshop chain, so if anyone can point me
to resources about that I'd be grateful.
The article is for a new, free, pdf comics magazine called Borderline,
which contains a section which reviews graphic novels and therefore
might be of interest to some of you. See
